How To Register For Chandigarh Air Show

The Indian Air Force is fully prepared for this event and for the booking you have to follow the given steps.

1. Firstly, visit the Official App of Chandigarh Tourism.

2. Once you install the mobile app, you have to do the registration if you are first time user or you can do login if you are an existing one.

3. After registering or signing up, tap on the events section.

4. Then, select “Chandigarh Air Show” event.

5. Now, click on the “Obtain Entry Pass” option.

6. Select Date as per your wish. You can only choose one day out of 6th Oct & 8th Oct.

7. Further, select the Alighting point from where you will board the shuttle bus.

8. Fill in your details and add another attendee. Only 2 persons can be added from one mobile number.

9. Tap on the “Perform Payment”. Total Rs 40 (for you and the another attendee) to be paid.

10. Choose the payment option and complete the process to obtain your entry pass.

Mandatory Guidelines For the Chandigarh Air Show

The Indian Air Force and Chandigarh Administration have taken all the important aspects for the convenience of everyone and all the measures have been taken place for the visitors on the sukhna lake.

• Firstly, you must bring a valid photo ID proof along with the entry pass. Without these, you will not be allowed to enter.
• Secondly, there will be earmarked parking spaces across the city where people with the bookings will be asked to come and park their vehicles.
• Then, show the QR code issued on the entry pass while boarding the shuttle bus.
• And from there, buses will take them to their designated locations at Sukhna Lake
• Buses will bring them back to the designated parking areas after the show concludes.
• The shuttle service to not be allowed after 2 pm.
• The air shows will be open on both the days for general public.
• Expecting the heavy rush the department has made a limited seats of approx. 30 thousands on 6th October.
• And on the 8th October, there will be more restrictions.

In a move to promote the welfare of pet dog owners in Chandigarh, the Municipal Corporation (MC) has integrated online registration facility through ‘Im Chandigarh’ App for pet dog owners. Through registration, dogs can be protected by getting them vaccinated for rabies by a certified veterinary practitioner and maintaining the vaccination record is a must, MC commissioner said.

The UT MC has warned citizens of action if they fail to register their dogs. They clarified that if the owners do not pay attention to this, they might have to loose their dog to Chandigarh MC. Apart from this, the Commissioner appealed to dog owners to vaccinate their pets for rabies as well.

1. There is no CoWIN app on the PlayStore for registration as the app is for administrators only. 
2. The registrations opened at 9 AM on March 1 and will be open till 3 PM every day. The availability of slots nearby to get vaccinated is subject to availability.

Follow these simple steps for registration:

1. Citizens can go to http://www.cowin.gov.in to register themselves or via the Aarogya Setu app, which has CoWIN app integration. 
2. Download the Aarogya Setu app from the play store or visit the Cowin.gov.in website from your desktop.
3. Enter your mobile number and click on the OTP (One Time Password). Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and click on the verify button.

4. In the Aarogya Setu app, go to the CoWin tab, and tap on the Vaccination tab. And then proceed.
5. A registration page will appear where you will need to enter the photo ID type ( Driving License, Aadhaar Card as photo ID proof), number, and your full name, gender, and age of the person. 
6. If you are registering for the person with Comorbidities. Click yes, when they ask ‘Do you have any comorbidities (pre-existing medical conditions)’. People age between 45 years to 60 years will need to carry a medical certificate when they go for the appointment. Once registered, a confirmation message will be sent to the registered mobile number.

7. After the registration is completed, the system will display account details. One person can add four more people linked to the mobile number verified before. You can click on the ‘Add button’ and enter the details of other individuals to register for them as well.

8. There appears a column named ‘Action’ in front of the names. And alongside it, there is a calendar icon, where you can schedule an appointment.
9. You will land on the “Book Appointment for Vaccination” page. Enter details like State/UT, District, Block, and Pincode. Hit the ‘ Search’ Button
10. Choose the vaccination center at your convenience. You can also choose dates from the next week and then click on the “Book” option.
11. An “Appointment Confirmation” page will open showing the details of the booking. You can either click on “Confirm” if the information is correct or click on “Back” to make changes.

12. Viola! Your “Appointment is Successful” will appear showing all the details. You can also download and save the confirmation of the details.
13.  If in any circumstance, you want to reschedule your appointment, you can log in with your mobile number, enter OTP and make the changes by clicking on the edit icon below the ‘Action’ column against registered individuals.

The civic body has provided a 20% rebate to residential property taxpayers and a 10% rebate to commercial entities for the fiscal year 2024-25. The last date for paying your property tax in Chandigarh is May 31.

After that, if they fail to pay, they will have to pay a 25% penalty over the entire amount besides 12% interest. Additionally, an outstanding tax from the date the tax bill is issued until the date the payment will be made.
