It has a big parking capacity which can accommodate over 5800 vehicles. The size of the mall is well-planned keeping the mobility and comfort of the people in perspective. 40 escalators, 17 elevators, and 2 travelators are installed to provide that extra convenience and ease to all the customers and employees.

Can I get an amen from all my fellow chandigarhians when I say that this town is the perfect blend of all things traditional as well as contemporary. You name it and We have it- food, fashion, night life, theatre, culture, scenery and so much more. We know our Gucci’s and Prada’s but we can rock a Patiala suit and Punjabi jutti with equal grace and poise.

Our city has the finest restaurants which serve a variety of international cuisines but nothing beats the tandoori roti and butter chicken of the dhabas that gives you a gastronomic experience that is one of its kind. Similarly, when we arrive at a party or a club we show off our “gangsta” dance moves while drake or Niki Minaj are crooning in the background but 30 minutes into the party and we are killing it with our bhangra on a badshah or a Yo Yo Honey Singh track. The Sukhna lake is Chandigarh’s prized possession and a walk along this reservoir during the evening with the cool wind blowing in your face gives the most soothing feeling. Being a famous tourist attraction, it is thronged by sketch artists, vendors of all kinds, street musicians and other entertainers to attract the crowd. The facility of boating is also available but nothing beats the serene sunrise and the beautiful sunset at the lake which adds to its scenic beauty.

TDI Mall

TDI Mall is another mall in Chandigarh. Despite having a good location it fails to attract visitors. It is so infamous that even local might not aware of this place. Goods and services tax or GST that is launched in this month only is still creating problems for the people and they are still facing problems. Several grocery shops are still struggling with the new goods and service tax. (GST). Actually, some problems they were facing previously are clear now but they are still surrounded by confusion and still, there is a short supply of products.

According to many shopkeepers in Chandigarh first 10 days were like a nightmare for them because they were not getting about the New GST and also they were clueless that how to upgrade their system. Many grocery shopkeepers said that because of this supply of many things like pulses and spices has been affected and their work is slowed down due to GST.

Many of people are saying that they are not getting their orders on time and they are spending all their time on upgrading their system and this is hitting their business because of decreased footfall of people. But people are still hoping this will bring some better things for them in future and waiting for those good days by understanding GST slowly and slowly.
