City of Sahibzada Ajit Singh (SAS Nagar), commonly known as Mohali, the rapidly growing and developing district of Punjab turns 11 today. Born In 1975

  • The foundation stone of 18th District of Punjab, Mohali was laid by the Punjab Chief Minister Giani Zail Singh and named it Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, the eldest son of Guru Gobind Singh. After its tenure, he named it as Ajitgarh.
  • Records of foundation stone day are not available, ironically they are missing.
  • Baljit Singh Papneja who painted and written the historic foundation stone of the Mohali has a picture of that day according to to the report publish in tribune news. He also remembers the spot where stone laid where at present industrial sheds are located behind the police station and adjoining Mohali’s first Kamla Market.

Daawat-E-Mushiq reached JH Society in Sector 20 Panchkula to amaze people. RJ Manav performed with New Age Band. All the society members tapped their feet to enjoy.

After Sector 20, Daawat-E-Mushiq entered Paragon School in Mohali to make the students forget their stress and relish the music in their school itself. At the school, RJ Geet and Fazal Band performed musing teachers and students to shake their booty on the floor.

Daawat-E-Mushiq also presented in Sector 32 Market near the newly opened Sindhi Sweets. This is the most happening market in the city where the student crowd wanders. My FM targeted this market for all sorts of people to relish their music. RJ Jassi conducted the show with New Age Band and served “Suroo Ke Pakwaan Sangeet Ki Daawat Mein”.

Japanese Garden is a park located in Sector 31 of Chandigarh witnessed the Tricity’s highest National flag hosting. Kiran Kher Member of parliament from Chandigarh unfurled the National Flag at Garden in Sector 31 on Sunday. The National Flag was tied at 101 feet long pole, and according to its height, it is 65th highest flag in the country.

Nagar Nigam approximately spent 20 lakhs to establish such flag hosting at Japanese Garden in the city. Kiran Kher after the flag hosting stipulated the tricolour of the flag, indicated the importance of all the colours in the flag. On this auspicious occasion in the Tricity, some major personalities were also present namely Asha Jaswal, Nagar Nigam Commissioner B Purusarth, and Air Force Officers.

Nagar Nigam Commissioner B Purusarth stated that on the Independence of the country the national flag on 22nd July 1947 was adopted in the formed Assembly meeting. The National Flag of our country reminds us of our Independence of our country.
