The civic body has provided 20% rebate to residential property tax payers and 10% rebate to commercial entities for the fiscal year 2022-23. The last date for paying your property tax has been extended till July 31, which was May 31 earlier.

After that, if they fail to pay, they will have to pay 25% penalty over the entire amount besides 12% interest.

An Online Portal for Chandigarh Residents To Pay Property Tax

No need to queuing up in long lines as Chandigarh Administration has launched a portal/website for the citizen to Pay Property Tax Online in Chandigarh. After Online Electricity Bill and water bill facility this will help citizen to make these bill payments from their home only.

This facility was started on Aug 2015 and inaugurated by UT adviser Vijay Dev. You can pay your property tax via net banking, debit card or credit card.

Steps To Pay Property Tax Online in Chandigarh

You can pay your house tax online through e-sampark official website.

1. Go/Open the official website sampark.chd.nic.in

First and foremost, open the online website sampark.chd.nic.in to proceed for your online property tax payment.

2. Click on Quick Pay Option & then Property Tax

Secondly, under the ‘Quick Pay’ drop down, click on the Property Tax.

3. Read all the instructions carefully

Further, the next page will show you the details/instructions of how to pay property tax online in Chandigarh. Read all the details carefully and then click on the proceed button. On the next page, there are two options for Property ID and House No.

1. Search your property details with Property ID

Your property details will appear on screen and you have to click on send OTP(One Time Password) which will be sent to your registered mobile number. Then enter it in OTP window to make successful online payment.

2. Search your property details with House No & Sector No

Under this, tist of property details will appear on your screen and after clicking on your details your property ID will be appear then you have to click on send OTP(One Time Password) which will be sent to your registered mobile number which you have to enter in OTP window to make successful online payment.

4. Redirect to Main Payment Page

Lastly, after filling your details in whichever mode you select, the page will redirect to the main Payment page where you can also check all your property details. Now, select any payment option and you will be able to pay your property tax.
