2. Zakir Hussain Rose Garden

Established in 1960, this botanical garden has been named after its founder P N Mehra, the head of botany department at Panjab Univseristy. Spread over an area of 16 acres on the main campus of the University, it was once a part of the Patiali Rao, a hilly rivulet coming down the Shivaliks.
